Create Time to Write

Just too busy. Rushing around constantly. Feeling guilty when you do get to sit down to write, that you should be doing something useful?
That is normal. Guilt. This is crap. Why can't I be inspired? Rushing.
The answer: discover the power of scheduling. I got into scheduling my week, organising it so I could carve out time to write. For example, Monday evenings were admin time where I looked up bank statements and replied to business emails. Tuesday and Thursday evenings were my creative writing time. Wednesday evening was my exercise day, and later that evening, I sent out a submission of writing I had already done. Friday evening was my 'veg' day, where I watched crap TV or scrolled social media for a few hours - only on Friday evening.
I managed to fit my life outside work and fit my writing around that. Use your diary to schedule writing time, and then fit other things around it!
